Student Teaching and a Long Month

What a long month. It was kicked off by the annual New Year's Day Cioppino meal for Aunt Donna's Birthday and the new year at Grandpa Wish's house. I started Student Teaching on January 4th. I really loved working with my Cooperating teacher, but they had to change me to a new school so I got enough hours. So three 1/2 weeks immersed in one school to be thrown into another with a new teacher. I went down to the Bay Area in early January for Christina's Bridal Shower and that was fun. The next weekend Tim and I went to Redding for his Grandma's surprise 70th birthday party, and that was great to see all of his family. Then we had lunch with Tim's Aunt Christine's family, which was really nice.

This past week I started my first semester as a Credential student! So, student teaching 25+ hours a week, nannying 10-18 hours a week, and class 13 hours a week leaves me with only Sunday off. That's an average of 52 hours a week.

Tim took and passed both tests to become a pest inspector for the State of California! I was so proud, I got him an apple crisp ice cream cake! This means we have a steady income each month, so we can start trying, and that Tim can get a job most anywhere in the state. I also think he will enjoy getting out of an office.

I'm excited for next month, since it's Christina and Jimi's wedding. Next weekend is the Bachelorette party in SF, which should be fun. Except the drive down there after my 8 hour Saturday class, and the drive back the next morning to watch the Super Bowl. . . The following week is the rehearsal dinner on Thursday and the wedding on Saturday, then Tim and I will be in SF for Valentine's Day <3

I have a crazy month ahead of me, but it should be full of fun and learning!
