365 Days of Pictures (#1)

So, I decided I would do a project. I love taking pictures, but who cares about seeing my dogs and sunsets? I do! So, I m going to take at least one picture a day, then put them all together into a slideshow in the end. Here's the first 6 days, for anyone besides me who cares to see :)

Felix

The past few weeks have been Jam-packed! I visited my family in Redding, went to my dad's BB-Q in Gass Valley, started my Fall semester of classes, and interviewed for a job I eventually got! Then, I finally got a kitten! I named him Felix, and within two weeks I was completely enamored of him. He would cuddle up with me while I read, play with the dogs, hang out with me at the computer, let me take endless pictures, and sleep in our bed at night. Tim started the doting father role of buying too many things and spending hours playing with him. We worked non-stop on having the dogs treat him nice and making sure he could get away if they got too rough.

Then we went out for a couple of hours, and Holiday killed him. I was devistated. We decided that we couldn't keep Holiday. She had injured cats before, killed chickens and nips at men. Not to mention that she killed the kitten that I loved!

So, we think we might get Felix's sister. My mom calls her Shelby (the kittens were born at my mom's house on June 16th) becasue she purrs like a Shelby car! She looks so much like Felix it made me cry when I held her. But I loved having a sweet kitty to cuddle with.

I guess I'll decide whether to take her home this weekend at my/my mom's birthday party. I turned 23 yesterday (9/9/09!), and my mom is 55 on Saturday!

I am a little worried about the fact that I just got a job (Yeah!) as a nanny, so three evenings a week, the kitty would be alone. But I think we could figure it out :)
